SPIguard’s extensive experience performing penetration testing and PCI-DSS/PA-DSS compliance validation has shown that organizations that have secure development processes and implement them are more secure than others.
To help organizations increase their security posture, we have developed world-class training courses. These courses help organizations incorporate security principles and processes into their software development life-cycle (SDLC), ensuring that their applications are secure from the ground up.
The key benefits of understanding security requirements and incorporating them into the SDLC are
- Increased confidence in the security of your applications
- More efficient testing
- Reduced remediation efforts and reworking of code
- Significant savings of time and cost
The courses that we provide are:
This course is designed for all personnel that have a role in developing applications (Dev/QA/Architects) and introduces the most common attacks that web applications face. Some remediation methods are also discussed.
This course is designed for developers and architects and discusses secure application design and coding techniques. Some examples on insecure and secure code are also presented to drive home concepts.
This course meets the PCI-DSS requirements for training of developers in secure coding techniques.
This course is designed as a primer on the PCI-DSS requirements. The course discusses each of the requirements, what you need to be aware of and how to securely handle cardholder data. This helps in preparing you for your PCI compliance assessment.
This course meets the PCI requirements for training of personnel on how to securely handle cardholder data.
This course is designed as a primer on the PA-DSS requirements. The course discusses each of the requirements, what you need to be aware of and how to securely handle cardholder data. This helps in preparing you for your PA compliance assessment.
This course meets the PCI and PA requirements for training of personnel on how to securely handle cardholder data.
While the courses can be delivered on-site if required, they are primarily delivered online as a hosted solution. The online format makes it easy to go through the course from wherever and whenever they feel like. All that is required is a computer with a web browser (IE, Firefox, etc) and speakers (or headphones) and an internet connection. There is no need to make participants sit through the entire duration of the course (1 or 2 days) and not have them available to perform their regular duties. Online courses also cost less than the same courses delivered on-site.
These courses are also available as SCORM compliant modules that you can integrate within your Learning Management System (LMS).
